The story behind Canyon Road Carpentry
At Canyon Road Carpentry, our name is a testament to our roots and dedication to craftsmanship. Frank Vincze, along with his wife Nichole, raised their three daughters on “Canyon Road,” where his love for woodworking truly took shape. What started as small projects in his garage quickly became a way to create meaningful pieces for his family. When his eldest, Grace, needed a shoe rack, Frank carefully built it to fit her space. When Gabri, the animal lover, wanted a home for her bearded dragon, Frank sketched, measured, and crafted the perfect enclosure. His daughters were his first clients, and he approached each project with the same level of care and precision that now defines Canyon Road Carpentry. From cutting boards and shelves to personalized wooden plaques, Frank’s craftsmanship grew alongside his family's needs. Now, as a nearly empty nester, he looks forward to pouring his passion and skill into custom woodworks for other families, ensuring each piece is both functional and meaningful—handbuilt and heartcrafted.
Frank’s love for woodworking runs deep, rooted in weekends spent refinishing antiques—restoring tables, chairs, armoires, secretaries, and steamer trunks to their original beauty. His hands have shaped everything from commercial set pieces to life-sized sculptures, always with an eye for detail and a respect for the materials he works with. Whether reviving turn-of-the-century craftsmanship or creating something entirely new, Frank’s dedication remains the same: to build pieces that stand the test of time, just like the memories they help create.
